Old lady on the phone: Excuse me, could you please give me the address of the Republican National Committee? I wrote to them at what I had and my letter came back with an error note.
Me: Sure, just a moment. Let me see what I can find.
Lady: I don't want to waste my effort.
Me: Is the address you have 310 First Street Southeast?
Lady: I don't know...
Me: Well, the one they have listed on their website is 310 First Street Southeast, Washington D.C. 20003.
Lady: I thought I read they moved it to Ohio.
Me: Well, they did have their convention in Ohio this year, but it looks like their headquarters is still in D.C.
Lady: I think the reason my mail was returned was bias. Is that clear enough for you?
Me: Uh huh.
Lady: Never mind, dear. Thanks for your help.
